transplantatie<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Stamceltransplantatie is een behandeling waarbij het afweersysteem wordt gereset. Eerst worden eigen stamcellen uit het lichaam gehaald. Daarna wordt medicatie gegeven die zoveel mogelijk afweercellen (die een grote rol spelen bij systemische sclerose) vernietigen. Dit wordt gedaan door een hoge dosis chemotherapie en anti-thymoglobuline (ATG).
